Bio:

Carolyn Clarke has been teaching yoga to children since 2002. She is certified by YogaKids International as a Certified YogaKids Teacher, or CYKT. This 18 month certification program included over 300 hours of study and is often considered the equivalent to a “Masters in Yoga for Kids”. She has received additional training to become a YogaKids Trainer, or YKT, and now facilitates workshops and trainings for teachers, parents, educators, and health professionals. She has also completed Erich Schiffmann’s Yoga Teacher Training for adults and a certification from Next Generation Yoga for 2-8 year olds.

Carolyn has been personally practicing yoga since 1994. She is a second generation yoga instructor who studied initially with her mother, Laurie Clarke, Certified Yoga Teacher in Charleston, SC. She has practiced a wide range of yoga styles, and she uses this varied background to inspire children to discover the joys of yoga. By combining her yoga knowledge, her sense of humor, and her love for children, Carolyn provides kids with a fun and educational yoga experience!
