Hope you enjoyed a wonderful week of yoga camp. I always love my week long camps with the kids - we really are able to connect and let our inner yogis out through fun & creative activities. I hope you'll swing by my blog about teaching yoga in school at yogainmyschool.com Also was wondering if you would be interested in exchanging guest blog posts. Let me know. Namaste.

Dear Carolyn ,
I wanted to introduce to you my new book, The Kids’ Yoga Book of Feelings. As a yoga teacher for kids, I wanted to help children understand their emotions through the poses. Each page introduces a pose as well as the emotion it expresses and is reinforced with an affirmation. I’ve found this method for teaching yoga to be very beneficial for my students. My book is available for purchase anywhere, but if you’d like to view sample pages, check it out at Amazon.

Please share with me your ideas for teaching yoga to kids. Let me know if you are teaching in the public schools or private practice. Also, if you would like to be removed from my list, I will be happy to comply; otherwise, I look forward to our exchange of ideas and experiences with kids and yoga.
Namaste,
Mary Humphrey
